In the lush landscape there are rolling hills covered with tall beech forest. The ponds have crystal-clear and cold water from several frost springs. The frost-spring water remains at 8 degrees all year round. We regularly stock rainbow trout, trout and char in the ponds – including some larger trophy fish! Our ponds originate from a natural stream that was excavated in the mid-1600s into a reservoir for spirits production, but are now pleasant fly-fishing waters. For those travelling from far away, or wanting to fish early while the mist still lies over the mirror-calm water, there are now two accommodation options. Option one is part of a dwelling 50 m from the ponds, with five places, and option two is the hunting and fishing house 75m from the new pond, with four places. There is parking in the farmyard, and by the pond we have arranged facilities for weighing, cleaning and barbecuing fish. Beautiful Vinneå winds through the landscape close by. The fishing permit also includes the opportunity to fly fish for naturally occurring brook trout in the river. Catch & release only in the river.
