Holjeåns FVOF All crayfish fishing is prohibited except for fishing water rights holders. A valid fishing license is valid for all fishing. Fishing is allowed during the period March 1 - September 30. Only moving gear is allowed - fixed gear, however, is allowed for fishing water rights holders when crayfishing. Angling with bait is allowed in calmer waters throughout the water area. In rapids and strongly flowing water where trout mainly occur, only fly and spin fishing is allowed. Barbed hook or depressed barbed wire shall be used so as not to damage fish that are to be released back, which also applies to all fishing in Lillån. Sea trout under 50 cm must be released immediately - one sea trout per season over 50 cm can be retained. As the natural rejuvenation of trout is not yet satisfactory, it is important to also release small trout. Other fish species such as pike, perch, lake, bream, roach and others. are allowed.
