Sjösa Säteri - Uttersjön Please note that free fishing licenses for youth up to 14 years of age are only available when fishing with a paying guardian. General rules To fish in Uttersjön, a valid fishing license is required. Uttersjön has supervisors who monitor the fishing and are tasked with ensuring that rules are followed. All cases of illegal fishing must be reported to the contact person (found on this page), which may result in a police report. You must be able to show identification to prove your identity when requested by a supervisor. If you violate the fishing rules, you will immediately lose your right to fish. Your fishing license will be confiscated and will not be returned. You may also be banned from fishing in the lake in the future, depending on the severity of the violation. Repeated violations will result in a lifetime ban. Allowed methods are spin fishing, fly fishing and ice fishing. No type of angling is permitted. Fishing with electronic equipment such as echo sounders is not permitted. Only fishing with one rod at a time is permitted. The fishing license is personal and may not be transferred. Permitted fishing hours during the day are 06:00-23:59. Fishing outside these hours is considered poaching. Children under 15 years of age can purchase a free fishing license and fish with a paying guardian present. Fishing with natural bait such as worms, maggots, shrimp or baitfish is prohibited in open water. Shrimp and maggots are permitted at ice fishing. Fishing and boat rental are at your own risk. To rent a boat you must have a valid fishing license. Max 4 people/boat in the larger boat and max 3 people/boat in the smaller ones. Fishermen from boats should always show consideration for those fishing from land. Fishing from Uttersjön's own plastic boats or your own float ring is permitted. No other boats, canoes or similar are permitted. Reporting requirements for all fish when fishing, takes place via ifishke. All trash brought to the fishing spot must be taken home. Littering will result in the inability to purchase more fishing licenses. When weighing fish, a wet weighing bag must be used if the fish is to be released back. Fish that are weighed and photographed should be released as soon as possible if they are not to be caught. Respect other fishermen and people moving around the water. Hooks are not allowed. Jerk fishing is prohibited. Mishooked fish must be released immediately. Crayfish fishing is not permitted. Netting and other mass-catching gear, both fixed and mobile, are prohibited.
