Yngarens o Mäskens FVOF Fishing regulations in Yngaren and Mäskarens FVO (ver. 2026-03-26) Fishing without a valid fishing license is illegal and a violation of the Fisheries Act (1993:787). Appointed fishing inspectors have the right to confiscate all equipment used and fishing without a license may result in a police report. Fishing license The fishing license is personal and entitles you to fishing with hand gear. Fishing licenses and identification must be presented upon request by fishing inspectors. Children and young people under 16 years of age fish for free in the company of fishing license holders. Fishing area The fishing license gives you the right to sport fishing in most of Yngaren, red areas are not included in the fishing conservation area. See map for boundaries. Rules Trolling ban applies throughout the area. Fishing for crayfish is not included in the fishing license. Fishing with nets is not permitted. Zander – During the period 15/5 - 15/6 we let the zander spawn in peace. Directed fishing for zander during that period is prohibited, this applies to everyone. Anglers as well as professional fishermen. Legal walleye to catch are between 45-65cm, catches outside that range must be returned regardless of condition. You can take home a maximum of 3 pike perch / day and a fishing license. When ice fishing, a maximum of 5 rods/day and a fishing license apply. Other The young have professional fishermen, do not disturb their fishing by exposed nets or gear.
