- Ban on both internal combustion and electric engines: According to the County Administrative Board's maritime traffic regulations 01FS 2001:138, it is prohibited to operate motorized vessels in Gömmaren.
- Fishing from a rubber boat is prohibited, it is recommended to fish from a float ring.
- Once 2 fish have been caught and released, you may not continue fishing under any circumstances unless a new fishing license has been purchased (max. 2 day licenses per calendar day).
- Only pike between 45-75cm may be caught.

Generally: The 24-hour card is not valid for 24 hours, but until 00:00 on the same day you buy it. After 00:00 you must purchase a new card. The card is personal and may not be transferred. Instructions from supervisors must be followed without fail ! Landowners around the lake must also bring a valid fishing license when fishing. Only fly fishing, reel/spinning, angling and ice fishing are permitted. Powerbait and Libra and similar taste/scent baits may not be used. Only one gear may be used at a time, with a reef and a hook. Throwing shrimp or other fish food into the water to attract fish, known as baiting, is not permitted. A maximum of 2 salmonids may be caught on ONE fishing license. Re-release (C/R) of fish is NOT permitted. Additional fees: Gömmarens Fiskeförening (LGF) charges additional fees for breach of contract to ensure that all fishermen follow the rules that come with the issued fishing license. The fishing license constitutes an agreement between the fisherman and the association, and by purchasing the license, the fisherman agrees to follow the applicable rules for fishing within the association's waters. In the event of a violation of these rules, the association reserves the right to charge additional fees according to the appendix that accompanies the fishing license, which contributes to a fair and sustainable fishing environment for all day license holders and members. You are suspended from all fishing until the additional fee is paid, and any unpaid fee will be collected via the tax authorities.
