Hagfors fiskevårdskrets

Several lakes and tarns in Hagfors Municipality are included. The exceptions are marked on our Fishing Map. There are, among other species, perch, pike, zander and whitefish, and noble fish in certain waters included in the district permit. Terrain and conditions vary greatly. Several lakes have forest around the water and some have adjacent wetlands. Some lakes may have barbecue areas and boats for hire. This provides an opportunity to try your luck in different environments. The following associations are part of Hagfors Fiskevårdskrets: Björklångens FVOF Bredvistens FVOF Busjöns FVOF Grängens & Kråkåsjangens FVOF Gräsmangens FVOF Grässjön–Lidsjöns FVOF Gröckens FVOF Harasjöarnas FVOF Klarälvens FVOF Knon-Tönnets FVOF Lakenesjöns FVOF Rådasjöns FVOF Stora Ullens FVF Stor-Ens FVOF Storsjöns FVOF (Filipstad/Hagfors) Sunnemo FVOF Upplund-Emtens FVF Uvanå FVOF Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 15. When a permit is purchased, children under 16 fish free. Only rod fishing; when fishing from a boat, one line/person and permit applies. We are an umbrella organisation to which around twenty FVOF are affiliated through our fisheries management area district. We sell a district permit valid for the affiliated associations' fishing waters. We distribute the income to the member associations every year. The statutes were adopted 1993-03-15. The district's purpose is • to work for good cooperation between the fisheries management organisations within Hagfors Municipality, • to promote good fisheries management within the municipality through information, study circles and cooperative projects such as liming, tourist permits and similar, • to work for good cooperation with the municipality and larger joint landowners in matters of a fisheries-management nature, • to support and work for the formation of fisheries management areas, • to act as a consultative body in current and joint matters.
