Rinnen, Hålevattnet, Mossjön m fl vatten

Hålteby-Rinnens FVOF has a total of 25 fishable waters, the largest of which are Rinnen, Mossjön, Eketjärn, Långevattnet, Hålevattnet and Rövattnet.The area has very beautiful nature with several nature reserves. The most common fish species are pike, perch, roach and trout.There are great opportunities for fishing in undisturbed waters high up in the forests of Hålteby-Rinnens FVOF, with surrounding nature reserves around several waters. In the forests you may have the chance to see some of our largest predators, such as wolf and lynx, as well as moose and other deer. White moose and white roe deer have also been seen in the area.Hålevattnet is a put & take water where rainbow trout are stocked every year. Rainbow trout up to 1.5 kg are stocked so visitors can experience the wonderful fights. The largest rainbow trout caught here weighed 4 kg. Hålevattnet also has an accessible jetty so that people with disabilities can fish.Rinnen is the area's largest lake and lies so high up that you get a sense of mountain country in the area. Large pike are caught in Rinnen every year, with the largest so far weighing 12 kg. Perch over a kilogram are frequent and fresh air is a promise.Mossjön is a very deep lake with depths over 30 metres. Char were stocked here 30 years ago and fish from the population remain to this day. FVOF will work to raise this water to both a trout and char mecca.Gravtjärnen in the east is a very easily accessible tarn where large perch over a kilogram are frequently caught.Several waters have great potential for lake-migrating trout, and this is something FVOF is investing heavily in developing. The area has one or more "put-and-take" waters with stocked salmonid fish. The area has one or more catch-and-release waters, i.e. fish are carefully released after capture. Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 15.
