- For walleye, the minimum length is 45 cm and the maximum length is 65 cm.
- Walleye shorter than 45 cm or longer than 65 cm must be released.
- Fishing with trolling from a motorized boat is permitted with one bait per person in the water and a maximum catch of three pike-perch per boat team per day.
- Ice fishing only one bait per person in the water and a maximum of three pike-perch per day.

Summelns FVOF Fishing licenses are valid for fishing in Lake Summeln with hand gear such as fishing rods, casting rods, ice sticks. Fishing using all types of echo sounders/scanners, such as Down-, Side- and Live scanners, may not be used or carried on board the boat, even if these scanners are not used when fishing. (Echo sounders for vertical depth measurement only may be used.) All pike-perch fishing is prohibited from April 25th to June 15th.
