Consists only of the approximately 30 ha large Västansjö. Fish species present are pike, perch, roach, tench, smelt, silver bream, noble crayfish. Maximum depth approximately 30 m. The lake has no stones and only two smaller areas with hard bottoms occur; the remaining bottom consists of sediment. Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 17. Västansjö fvof is among the smaller fvof in Värmland. Västansjö Fvof was formed in 1987. Before that, fishing had been managed by Västansjö Fiskevårdsförening since the 1930s. The association manages fishing to maintain stable fish stocks.
