Hjukens FVO The Norwegian Sea and Water Authority's fishing rules apply, min and max as well as protection times. Fishing may only be done with a hand-held rod. Fishing license must be taken with you when fishing. However, boats may not be used in Hjuksjälstjärna.

Open official websiteVindelälven is the core of the area, with Hjukenforsen as its ace, where you can catch both grayling, trout, salmon etc.We also have tributaries such as Hjuksån with its fantastic small rapids, containing grayling and trout among other species.There is also a lake system, Lappängestjärn, with excellent pike fishing.A boat should be used there for good access.We also have Hjukstjälstjärnarna, where there are trout.Our fishing conservation area extends from Lund to Strycksele within Vindeln municipality. Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 15. Free fishing is available for children under 15; a guardian does not need to be present. The association was formed at the end of the seventies; its purpose is to preserve and safeguard fishing for the public and fishing-right holders.
