Joeström FVO lies between Södra Storfjället and Jofjället in the Tärna mountains. The fish stocks consist of native char and trout. The fishing waters vary, with both lakes and running water. The area offers good fishing conditions in both summer and winter. The surroundings of the watercourses consist mainly of mountain birch forest. Instagram: joestrom_fvo Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 15. Only accompanied by a guardian/adult/person holding a valid fishing permit (on that person's quota) Joeström fish conservation area was formed in 1991 with the purpose of coordinating and carrying out fish conservation in the waters within the villages of Joeström and Ström. The association grants fishing rights to the public through the sale of fishing permits.
