Access down to Märkesforsen is at Stintbäcken, approx. 15 km above Hemavan. The area has both calm water and running water and is suitable for all types of rod fishing. The fish you can expect to catch are char and trout. The area is sometimes easily accessible and sometimes difficult to get around in. Three places are adapted for people with disabilities: Båtlänningen, Märkesforsen and Fäboavan. Within the area there is one or more accessible waters. For more information, see the fishing area's map where these points are marked, or contact Klippens FVO. Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 15 years. Only when accompanied by a guardian/adult/person who has a valid permit (on that person's quota).
