Welcome to Stensele Fvo. Stensele fishery conservation association is now taking new steps to increase the availability of, among other things, permits. Fishing today consists of a very good supply of pike, ... Welcome to Stensele Fvo.Stensele fishery conservation association is now taking new steps to increase the availability of, among other things, permits.Fishing today consists of a very good supply of pike, grayling, whitefish and rainbow trout.Trout occurs in normal numbers.To increase accessibility also for wheelchair users, in 2006 we completed a disabled-accessible fishing place with wind shelter on the southern side of the canal (see map)Every year 1500 trout and 1500 grayling are stocked. Approximately:1000 of the trout are fed during the summer in a fish cage to be released into the river gradually later on. Within the area there is one or more accessible fishing waters. For more information, see the fishing area's map, where these points are marked, or contact Stensele Fvo. Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 15 years. Only handheld tackle. Free rod fishing throughout the entire FVO for children under 15 years.
