Resele FVOF Fishing regulations 2025, Resele fvo GENERALLY 1. Everyone who fishes in waters within Resele fvo must know and follow established fishing rules. 2. Fishing in planted waters entails the obligation to obtain and carry proof of a valid fishing license. 3. Family members up to 16 years of age may accompany you on the same card, however, a maximum of 3 fish are allowed per card. 4. Instructions from the supervisor must be followed loyally. He has the right to confiscate unmarked or illegal fishing gear, and to report it to the police. FISHING LICENSE 1. Crayfish cards cannot be purchased in 2025 due to confirmed crayfish plague. 2. Validity period for fishing licenses: 24-hour licenses and 2-day licenses are valid from the actual time and date the license was purchased and Family Annual Licenses are valid for 1 year from the date of purchase. 3. Fishing license prices: 24-hour license 100 SEK, 2-day license 170 SEK, annual family license 600 SEK. 4. 24-hour, 24-hour or annual passes entitle you to catch a maximum of 3 edible fish per pass per day. NOBLE FISH PLANTED WATERS (Lake Prästorrsjön, Lake Rämmasjötjärn, Lake Sels-Stensjön) 1. Fishing in these three waters is permitted year-round with the purchase of a 24-hour, 24-hour or family annual pass. 2. Prästorrsjön a. When fishing during ice-free times, the use of a boat is permitted. Rental boats are available! b. Angeldon fishing with dead bait for pike and pike perch is permitted year-round. c. Fishing is prohibited from the date in the spring when fish planting takes place and for two weeks thereafter. 3. In Rämmasjötjärn a. Fishing during ice-free periods may only be done from land. 4. Sels-Stensjön a. When fishing during ice-free times, the use of a boat is permitted. There is a rental boat! b. Angelfish fishing with dead bait for pike and pikeperch is permitted year-round. c. Fishing is prohibited from the date, in late autumn, when the implantation takes place until the date of the ice fishing premiere! 5. Setting of gillnets, nets, trammel nets or longlines is not permitted in any of the waters listed above. However, exceptions are allowed for fish conservation efforts led by the board of Resele fvo. FISHING IN NON-PLANTED WATERS (Ångermanälven, lakes, ponds, rivers and streams within the FVO) 1. In unplanted waters, fishing is permitted year-round (even by boat during ice-free periods) without the requirement for a fishing license. 2. In these waters, it is also permitted to set nets, gillnets, longlines or angelfish with dead bait for catching the fish species that occur. Gear must be clearly marked so that it can be detected by other fishermen. 3. In rivers and streams, fishing may only be done by angling or casting. CRAYFISHING ON THE ÅNGERMANÄLVEN RIVER Due to crayfish plague, no crayfish fishing will be allowed to the public in 2025.

Resele fish conservation area is located in Västernorrland, Sollefteå Municipality, upstream of the Ångermanälven after National Road 90, approx. two Swedish miles northwest of Sollefteå. The fish conservation area has many pleasant and exciting waters to offer, both summer and winter, for anglers who wish to experience wonderful nature in peaceful surroundings. Several of the waters are stocked annually with game fish.The area comprises the part of Ångermanälven within the FVO, the lakes Prästorrsjön, Rämmasjön, Fisksjön, Sels-Stensjön, Mjösjön and Selsjön, as well as the tarns Stor-Koltjärn, Orrsjötjärn, Sultenabborrtjärn, Lill-Skavtjärn, Stor-Skavtjärn and Rämmasjötjärn.Fishing for trout and rainbow trout can be carried out in Prästorrsjön and Rämmasjötjärn, which are easily accessible in summer via forest roads. In winter, these waters are most easily reached by snowmobile. Sels-Stensjön is the most easily accessible lake within Resele FVO, situated close to a public road. There, Arctic char and rainbow trout can be fished for all year round. Supplementary stocking in the above-mentioned waters takes place continuously every year.For the angler’s convenience, a number of wind shelters have been strategically placed, and at Sels-Stensjön there is also a jetty and toilet adapted for people with reduced mobility.Very good perch and pike fishing is offered in most waters all year round. Trout have previously been stocked in Sulten-abborrtjärn and Stor-Skavtjärn, so one or another trout may still be present.Crayfish fishing in Ångermanälven is Not currently offered, as crayfish plague has wiped out the stock. Prästorrsjön:Trout, rainbow trout, perch, pike. Day, two-day and family annual permits. Boat permitted!A high-altitude lake in fantastic nature with a stony shore environment. Along the lake’s shores there are many wind shelters. The lake can be reached via forest roads from two directions.Rämmasjötjärn:Trout, rainbow trout and perch, Day, two-day and family annual permits. Boat Not permitted!An idyllic forest tarn beside the larger Rämmasjön. The tarn is accessible from the southern and northern sides. A wind shelter with a fireplace is located on the northern side, and on the southern side there is a barbecue area with seating planks.Sels-Stensjön:Arctic char, rainbow trout, perch, pike. Day, two-day and family annual permits, Boat permitted during the ice-free period. Fishing prohibited between autumn stocking and the start of ice fishing.A fantastic lake situated close to a public road. Access to a wind shelter, jetty and toilet at the descent.Rämmasjön:Perch and pike. No permit required! Boat permitted!The lake is one of the larger lakes in the area, with mountainous nature on the southern side and undulating pine heath on the northern side. The lake is easily accessible via a forest road.Fisksjön:Perch and pike, No permit required! Boat permitted! A somewhat smaller and shallower lake accessible via a forest road.Mjösjön:Perch and pike. No permit required! Boat permitted!A smaller lake set into wooded and hilly terrain. Easily reachable from from two directions from a public road and forest road.Stor-Skavtjärn:Perch, (trout), No permit required!A pleasant tarn hidden in the forest, reachable from a forest road plus a 20-minute forest walk.Sultenabborrsjön:Perch, (trout). No permit required!A small forest tarn in the middle of the forest with elements of marshland.Reached in summer by a somewhat longer forest walk and in winter by snowmobile.Ångermanälven crayfish fishing:For the time being not applicable due to crayfish plague.Ångermanälven Pike and Perch Fishing:Perch and pike. No permit required! Boat permitted!The river section offers a very fine shore environment on the northern side with beautiful undulating countryside and fine villages. The southern side has somewhat more mountainous and less accessible nature.Accommodation:Camping cabins for hire Resele IF’s cabin village in Tängsta by Tängstahallen has six winterised camping cabins with four beds in each cabin. Pillows and duvets are available, but guests must bring their own bed linen. Bed linen, pillowcases and duvet covers are available for hire for 80kr. Cabin no. 6 is animal-free. Access to a service building, fully equipped kitchen and common room with TV and internet. Good fishing waters, a fine illuminated ski trail, hiking trails and Höven outdoor swimming area. During the winter season there is a skiing-friendly illuminated trail with a warming hut. Fine snowmobile trails, ice fishing, an illuminated skating rink. Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 16. Only in the company of a guardian/adult/person who has a valid permit (from that person’s quota) Family members up to 16 years may accompany on the same permit, however a maximum of 3 fish per permit is permitted. Resele FVO is a fishing-rights association consisting of approx. 30 fishing-rights owners, comprising larger forestry companies, Sollefteå Municipality, the church and many smaller property owners.The association’s entire board has its registered seat within the area’s boundaries.The association’s aim is, as far as possible, to facilitate the opportunities to fish in the best possible way and create the conditions for a maximum experience for anglers and other visitors.
