Bågasjön has a natural stock of trout and early summer often offers black grouse displays. In the river water we stock rainbow trout and Arctic char. The Arctic char in particular seems to thrive in the cold water. Ice fishing in late winter is recommended on Skalmsjösjön, which has somewhat larger perch. In the area there is one or more waters for catch-and-release, i.e. the fish are carefully released after capture. Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 17 years. Within Södra Anundsjöån's FVO, it is possible to fish for grayling, trout, Arctic char, rainbow trout, perch and pike.
