Solbergsbygden

In Solbergsbygdens fine and scenic waters in Västernorrland you can fish for trout, Arctic char and grayling. In most of our waters we also offer very good fishing for pike and perch, and in some places also rainbow trout and brook trout. Shelters, toilets and fireplaces are available at several fishing lakes. Trout are stocked in Valmsjön and rainbow trout are stocked annually in Djuptjärna. In the area you can fish for perch and pike in Svarttopptjärnarna, Gafselesjön, Stugusjön, Åselsjön, Tällsjön, Djupsjön, Åbosjön, Mjölksjön and Byxsjön. In Rödvattensjöarna: perch, trout, Arctic char. Niptjärn contains perch and trout, and Tvärmyrtjärnarna only perch. Norra Anundsjöån, Åbosjöån, Solbergsån and Pengsjöån contain grayling, trout and pike. In Svarttoppbäcken, Nipbäcken and Rödvattenbäcken you can catch trout, and in Gräsbäcken also brook trout. Solbergs fish-conservation area lies 9 Swedish miles west of Örnsköldsvik. From the E4, turn off at Överhörnäs, located 9 km south of Örnsköldsvik. Travel towards Åsele, Road 348 to Solberg.
