The association has prepared a spawning ground and has previously released eggs. There is a shelter by the lake, as well as an outdoor toilet and jetty at the shelter, easily reached from the road via a gravel ramp. The jetty can be used by wheelchair users, though it is not fully adapted. The lake was test-fished during 2025 with good results; the largest trout caught weighed just over 3 kg. KvarnånKvarnån contains naturally reproducing trout throughout the river. Depending on where you choose to fish, the river has different characteristics, from slow-flowing to fast-running. The association has carried out extensive measures, preparing spawning grounds and removing migration barriers on the first stretch upstream from Ljungan. Fisheries management is carried out in cooperation with the county administrative board. GetterånNaturally reproducing trout occur in Getterån, which runs through very fine terrain along its entire stretch. KallsjönKallsjön contains pike and perch, with perch particularly abundant. Västanå GrössjönVästanå-Grössjön contains both pike, perch and whitefish.LövsjönLövsjön contains perch and trout. The lake is very shallow in large parts, and access is easiest in the northern part of the lake. A shelter with barbecue area is easily reached from the road. Södra and norra Lus-ErikstjärnarnaSödra and norra Lus-Erikstjärnarna contain stocked trout of the Gimå strain. The association alternately stocks fish in the southern and northern tarn at regular intervals and issues a fishing prohibition in connection with stocking. 2-year-old fish are normally stocked. The lakes require travel on foot through terrain that is somewhat wet in places, especially when coming from the north. LjunganLjungan contains perch, pike, trout, roach and others. Fishing can take place at several locations along the shore and from a boat. At times the river can be fairly fast-flowing at high water levels in certain places. ÅstjärnenÅsttjärnen contains perch and pike. The lake is easily reached from the adjacent road. KallsjötjärnenKallsjötjärn contains smaller perch. The lake is easily reached from the connecting gravel road, but it is surrounded by marshland over large parts and at times difficult to access. General rulesFires shall be made at prepared fireplaces and rubbish shall be thrown in the bins next to the shelters at Lövsjön and Örsjön. Please note whether a fire ban is in force via information from SMHI and other authorities. Net fishing is prohibited and infringements will be prosecuted.
