Valsjön is a forest lake of approximately 40 ha, approximately 2 km long and with an average depth of approximately 5m. The fish fauna consists of pike, perch, roach, trout, burbot and stocked rainbow trout. Pike in the 10-kilo class are not unusual. Fishing for permit holders is during summer only ... Valsjön is a forest lake of approximately 40 ha, approximately 2 km long and with an average depth of approximately 5m. The fish fauna consists of pike, perch, roach and trout. Pike in the 10-kilo class are not unusual. Fishing for permit holders is only permitted from land in summer. In winter, fishing is permitted from the ice with a maximum of 5 rods per person. Fishing near summer cottages is prohibited. Fishing is prohibited in streams to and from the lake. The area contains one or more “put-and-take” waters with stocked game fish. Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 11. Wicanders Sportfiskeförening is an association engaged in angling, fisheries management and competition fishing.
