Luhrsjöns FVOF Fishing regulations and agreements for fishing with a sport fishing license in Lake Luhrsjön: We have now introduced a BAN ON LIVE GIVERS . These may not be used in connection with fishing. Traditional sonar with CHIRP transducers, including side-scan and down-scan, are still permitted. These techniques are primarily used to map bottom structure and identify schools of fish without providing a real-time picture of individual fish movements. Fishing license: The fishing license allows the holder the right to fish only with hand gear such as rods (max. 2) and/or for ice fishing with fishing tackle (max. 10). Fixed fishing gear such as nets, traps, cages, tubs and other mobile or fixed fishing gear are not included and are prohibited on the fishing license. The fishing license also does not allow the right to fish for crayfish or eel. For trolling fishing, two rods are allowed per fishing license. Supervision: The fishing license must be taken with you when fishing and must be presented together with valid identification and the fish caught when requested by a fishing inspector. A fishing inspector has the right to request access to closed or locked areas on a boat used for fishing. We have a BAN ON LIVE GIVERS . These may not be used in connection with fishing. Children and young people up to 15 years of age are allowed to fish without a fee (age must be proven in borderline cases). However, if accompanied by a guardian, the guardian must hold a fishing license. Grace period and size limitation: We have decided that the pike-perch will be protected during the spawning season in May. In other words, there is a BAN on directed fishing for pike-perch from 1/5 to 31/5. NEW ADJUSTMENT : Only pike and pike-perch within the length range of 45 – 80 cm may be caught and retained. Other pikes and pike-perch must be immediately released back into the lake as gently and quickly as possible, regardless of their condition (dead or alive). Feel free to take white fish from the lake (roach/bream/bream) , kill them and eat them , give them to the cat or sort them as food waste/organic. Respect for nature, people and animals is a matter of course for us and we expect you to share our attitude. You are not allowed to walk across land or areas near residential buildings. You must not walk across newly sown fields or fields carrying fragile crops. You are not allowed to drive or park on a private road. The right of public access does not allow it. The greatest possible consideration should always be given to plant and animal life. Always “clean up” after yourself, leave the place in the condition you wish to find it. Thanks in advance!
