Malmjärns FVOF Crab fishing prohibited. Fishing with Russian or minnows prohibited. All fishing in the Getån is prohibited. Fishing with a boat engine (trolling) is only allowed if the engine is electric. When fishing with nets, floats and buoys must be marked with the fishing license holder's name and telephone number. A maximum of two nets may be used. The nets must be of normal length, a maximum of 30 metres.

Includes lake Malmjärn with smaller inflows and outflows, as well as parts of Hoån, Getån and Nystillaån. ... Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 15. Malmjärn's Fisheries Conservation Area Association in Hofors municipality was formed in 1987 and aims to promote fisheries conservation in Lake Malmjärn, with its associated watercourses, and to make fishing available to the public. The goal is to create an interesting and long-term sustainable sport fishing and domestic fishing that is in harmony with the area's other outdoor activities and the interests of the co-owners.
