Bottnaryd village association offers good rainbow trout fishing in the scenic diocesan reserve ”Mörtsjöåsen”, with eskers and 300-year-old pines.Since 1993, the village association has conducted recreational fishing in these lakes:• Mörtesjön (A-Permit, fly fishing only).• Abborragölen (B-Permit, ... News.New this year is that we are opening all lakes to any handheld tackle.Bottnaryd village association offers good rainbow trout fishing in the scenic diocesan reserve ”Mörtsjöåsen”, with eskers and 300-year-old pines.Since 1993, the village association has conducted recreational fishing in these lakes:• Mörtesjön (A-Permit, fishing with any handheld tackle).• Abborragölen (A-Permit, fishing with any handheld tackle).• Skräcklagölen (A-Permit, fishing with any handheld tackle).At the lakes there are shelters, barbecue area, parking area, dry toilet and accessible jetties.Other lakes: Gårdsjön, Västersjön, Bergsjön and Lillesjön (C-permit).Swimming facilities with jetties are available at Västersjön. Within the area there is one or more accessible water. For more information, see the fishing area map where these points are marked, or contact Bottnaryds Byalag. In the area there is one or more "put-and-take" fishing water with stocked salmonids. Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 14.
