Rosjön, Rogölen

Rosjön is situated just over 6 km north of Eksjö, and the southern parts of the lake are also in Eksjö Municipality. Rosjön is a 177 ha lake with a highly indented shoreline on the Småland highlands. The almost archipelago-like environment, with extensive surrounding forest and a varied bottom topography, makes it interesting for several outdoor activities such as sport fishing, paddling and birdwatching. Rosjön is long and narrow in a north-south direction and is richly equipped with islands, skerries, headlands and bays, meaning there is much to explore for fishing enthusiasts and many picnic places to go ashore for those more fond of a cup of coffee. The lake's eastern shore lies along road 32 between Eksjö and Aneby and is more built-up, compared with the western side where houses are virtually absent. Rosjöns fisheries conservation area also provides fishing in the small lake Rogölen, situated just north of Rosjön. Rosjön lies along RV 32 one mil north of Eksjö. Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 15. The association's purpose is to co-ordinate fishing operations and fisheries conservation. To promote the common interests of holders of fishing rights, taking into account the regulations applying to fishing, and to provide fishing rights to the public.
