Västra Lägrens fvo Rules for fishing license holders. Allowed tools Fishing license holders are allowed to fish with a fishing rod, casting rod, fly rod, ice rod and trolling rod. Max. 2 rods/person. Trolling, i.e. rod fishing with a deep rig or rod lure, is not permitted, as is otter fishing. Max 4 rods/boat. LIVESCOPE fishing is prohibited. So is fishing with a paravan, surface and sound otters and float longlines. Species and catch restrictions NOTE! Trout are completely protected until further notice. It is prohibited to fish for trout, any fish caught must be immediately released, regardless of the condition of the fish. Other rules Fishing is not permitted closer than 50 meters from a pier or residential property. Fishing may not take place in such proximity to exposed nets or gear that they are damaged. The fishing license holder must respect and be informed about closed periods and protected areas for trout, as well as nature and bird protection. The fishing license must always be carried on the fishing trip and can be presented upon request to the police, fishing inspector or water rights owner. The fishing license is personal and may not be transferred. If a valid fishing license is missing during the inspection, the supervisors will issue an annual license and charge SEK 600 / person. In the event of serious violations, a police report will be filed. Children up to and including 13 years of age do not need a fishing license. Keep nature clean. Be careful with FIRE. It is forbidden to make fires on the rock outcrops. Before putting the boat into the lake, make sure it and the gear are well cleaned and dry so that invasive plants and animals do not spread between lakes.
