Open source dataRapatjärn is a tarn approximately 600m x 50m, about 5 km outside Arjeplog village. The area is scenic and, besides fishing, offers good opportunities for outdoor recreation and hiking/walking. Rainbow trout are stocked annually in the tarn; in addition, there are natural stocks of pike and perch. Near Rapatjärn there is a large cottage with seating for 20 people. There is a gas cooker and a diesel heater if it gets cold. There is also a wood-fired sauna nearby. Both can be hired; for information, call 070-561 90 59 The fishing area is accessibility-adapted. Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 17. Arjeplogs snöskoterförening was formed at the end of the 1960s. The purpose of the association is to make snowmobile trails in the local area accessible. We also conduct recreational fishing in 3 tarns in Arjeplog, with put-and-take fishing. The fishing area is accessibility-adapted for people with disabilities. The area is scenic and, besides fishing, offers good opportunities for outdoor recreation and hiking/walking. Rapatjärn lies in the Åsen area, which contains several ancient remains such as pitfall systems, hearths and cooking pits.
