Hertsöträsket is close to the Hertsön residential area. In recent years, both char and rainbow trout have been stocked there. There are also perch and pike. Around the lake there are walking paths, cottages, wind shelters and picnic areas. A ramp several hundred metres long has been built around the lake, providing good opportunities for people with disabilities, for example wheelchair users, to reach the lake. The fishing area is accessibility-adapted. For more information, see the fishing area's map, where points are marked, or contact Hertsöträsket. Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 15. Only accompanied by a parent/guardian/adult/person with a valid fishing permit (on that person's quota) The maximum number of fish (3) then applies to the adult and child together. Welcome to Hertsöträsket, the latest stocked lake prepared for the public by Luleå municipality.
