Hargsjön

Hargsjön is approximately 100 hectares in area and is picturesquely situated north-west of Kisa in southern Östergötland.It is an accessible lake with roads all around it. A fairly shallow reed lake with a depth of approximately 4-5m. The most common catch is pike and perch, but tench, bream and roach are also present. Pike weighing 12-14 kg have been caught, and occasional catches of eel and burbot have occurred. Hargsjöns Fiskevårdsområde was formed to promote fisheries management and maintain good species composition, with environmental considerations as the starting point, so that future generations can also enjoy rewarding fishing in a beautiful and recreational environment.
