Sjöarp-Öasjöns FVO Rules for fishing license holders: Allowed tools Fishing license holders are allowed to fish with an angling rod, ice rod, casting rod, fly rod and trolling rod. Maximum two tackles (lines or baits) per license. Trolling, i.e. rod fishing with a deep rig or rod lure, is not permitted, as is otter fishing. Catch limitation . Fishing for trout is prohibited from 1 May 2023 to 30 April 2028 (5 years). Caught trout must be released. Other species no restriction Other rules •Fishing may not be conducted closer than 50 meters from a pier or built-up area unless special permission has been obtained from the owner. •Fishing must not take place in such proximity to exposed nets or gear that they are damaged. •The fishing license holder must respect and be informed about closed periods and protected areas for trout, as well as nature and bird protection. •The fishing license must always be carried on the fishing trip and can be shown upon request to the police, fishing inspector or water rights owner. •The fishing license is personal and may not be transferred. •Children under 13 years of age do not need a fishing license. Supervision takes place irregularly to ensure that those fishing have a valid fishing license, and that the general fishing rules of the fishery management area are followed. If a fishing license is missing, we will without exception distribute and charge an annual license of 500 SEK per person or 600 SEK per family. Alternatively, a police report will be made. If you do not follow the general fishing rules such as the number of approved rods, unauthorized equipment or the wrong fish - trout (size, location and time), a control fee of 500 SEK will be charged, alternatively and in the case of more serious violations, a police report will be made. Keep nature clean. Be careful with FIRE. It is forbidden to make fires on islands. Choose rocks or stones at the water's edge .
