Fishing area from the bridge along road 1132 to the outlet into Lake Storuman. At the outlet there is a simply situated "wilderness camp" with toilet, barbecue hut and space for tents or caravans. Information is available at the campsite. Bridges at road 1132 and E 12. Marked trails along the stream. The stream mainly contains trout and grayling, but at the outlet also whitefish, pike and perch. The village conducts fish conservation by preparing spawning grounds for trout. Some stocking of brook trout has taken place. Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 14. Only accompanied by a parent/guardian/adult/person with a valid fishing permit (on that person's quota) Ankarsund's associations jointly develop activities for the village. The joint-property association holds the fishing rights for Gardsjöbäcken and manages fish conservation and permit sales. It strives for a sustainable stock of brook trout in Gardsjöbäcken. The supply of fish is not unlimited - therefore we have introduced certain restrictions - see the rules tab. The interest association operates a "wilderness campsite" at the stream outlet. There is space for tents, caravans and motorhomes. Several barbecue sites and a "barbecue hut". The campsite is free of charge - but contributions are welcome in the Red Box at the beginning of the campsite. Please write a few lines about your experience!
