Most waters are easily accessible along the road towards Borgafjäll. Boats may be used on the lakes Väster-Rissjön, Mellan-Rissjön, Lövsjön and Mevattnet. To reach Mellan-Rissjön, turn right in the village of Risbäck. The area offers interesting fishing, with salmonids occurring in most waters. The fishing consists of varied mountain-near fishing including larger lakes, tarns and running waters. Arctic char and trout are the most interesting species, but perch, burbot and whitefish also occur in the area. The area is pleasant in both summer and winter, with a varied and enjoyable fishing offering. Lövsjön is a pleasant ice-fishing water close to Borgavägen. The average weight of the Arctic char is not very high, but there are large numbers of them. Lövsjön also contains trout, whitefish and perch to fish for. Downstream of Lövsjön lies Mevattnet, which is also a pleasant ice-fishing water where the average size of the fish is larger. However, the lake is more difficult to fish. Västerrissjön is a beautiful lake dominated by trout and perch. The lake is fished best in summer with a spinning rod or fly rod. Mellanrissjön, which lies downstream of Västerrisssjön, is a relatively deep lake where Arctic char thrive. Korpån between Lövsjön and Mevattnet is a fine trout stretch, so at times you can catch really fine trout. Where the river flows into Mevattnet, fine whitefish are often present. Within the area there is one or more “put-and-take” water with stocked game fish. Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 15. Only in the company of a guardian/adult/person who has a valid permit (on that person’s quota)
