In winter, some fishing waters are only accessible via skiing or snowmobiles. In some lakes there are boats that can be borrowed free of charge under your own responsibility. Some boats may lack oars because they sometimes unfortunately disappear. Some spring/summer there is a stocking of rainbow trout in Långtjärnen and then fishing is prohibited for a fishing premiere that is announced. The fisheries management area is on the county border between Västerbotten and Västernorrland counties so you can be in both counties at some fishing waters. Holmträsk-Storsjö FVO was formed in 1981. Fishing for everyone who is interested in fishing and the goal is that it should be accessible to everyone.
