Krångfors FVO Minimum size gray 35 cm Minimum trout size 35 cm Pikes over 80 cm must be re-released. Free fishing for children and young people up to the age of 18 against the redemption of a free fishing license. Crayfish fishing only allowed on the third Friday in August according to the general meeting's decision. Fishing in 2022 may be conducted from 18.00 on Friday 19 August until 12.00 on Saturday 20 August. Fishing only permitted for fishing right owners, residents and cabin owners within the FVO on payment of a local card + crayfish fishing card. Only 1 crayfish fishing license may be redeemed for each household. It is mandatory to submit catch statistics for the crayfish fishery. A maximum of 100 crayfish/crayfishing license may be taken. There are also 10 crayfish fishing licenses for guests, which can be booked by contacting Krångfors FVO.

Krångfors FVO is located 2 mil upstream from Skellefteå centre and manages the fishing from the village of Dal up to Finnforsfallet.The fishing is primarily carried out in the regulated Skellefteälven for perch, pike, trout and grayling. Grayling and trout are preferably fished in the stretches of running water downstream of the power stations and, above all, grayling fishing can periodically be really good. Targeted fishing for trout is mainly carried out downstream of Granfors power station, where a few fine trout are caught every year. Fishing for pike has increased in the river in recent years and 10+ pike are regularly caught within Krångfors FVO.Both freshwater pearl mussel and noble crayfish are found in the river, with fishing for noble crayfish only open to fishing-rights owners and residents within the FVO.Please follow us on Facebook! Krångfors FVO manages the fishing in Skellefteälven from the village of Dal up to Finnforsfallet.Representatives from most of the villages sit on the board.
