Sandsele fishing area lies along the Vindelälven, approx. 25 km south of Sorsele, with a fishing stretch of approx. 9 km. The area is very scenic and easily accessible along the Vindelälven, beginning at the end of Fläckseleforsen and extending down to Långforsen. Many fine rapids and pools are suitable for all kinds of sport fishing for grayling, trout, salmon, perch, pike and powan. The area is very easily accessible. It is close to roads E45, R363 and Road 1000. There are also a number of tarns with perch and pike; if you like pike fishing, Långtjärn, Gipperavan, Sappetavan and Svartavan are good alternatives. Shelters are available on the southern side of Sandforsen and Lillseleforsen, on both the southern and northern sides of Maloforsen, and at Inre Stortjärn and Gaivatjärn. Welcome to Sandsele! There are one or more “put-and-take” waters with stocked game fish in the area. Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 14. Only in the company of a parent/guardian/adult/person who has a valid fishing permit (from that person’s quota) A small organisation with fine fishing waters along the Vindelälven. The joint ownership association was formed in 1984 to create sustainable fishing for both fish and anglers.
