Häresjöns FVOF For fishing, two hand tools may be used on each fishing occasion. Hand tools include spinning, fly fishing, reels, ice fishing and fishing rods. Children/youth up to 17 years of age fish for free. Fishing with fixed gear such as nets, gillnets, traps, longlines, etc. is prohibited. Only the owners of the fishing waters have this right. Crayfish fishing is not permitted. Pike-perch: * Min. dimensions: 45 cm, max. dimensions 65 cm, all other sizes will be returned. * 1 pike perch may be caught per day. Maximum 30 pike perch may be caught per year. * Fishing ban on pike-perch applies between April 1 - June 1. Possibly eel: * min. dimensions 70cm. Consideration must be given to nesting birds, and there is a fire ban on the beaches.

A beautiful fish-rich lake of 170 hectares with a maximum depth of 11m in inland Dalsland on the border with Bohuslän. The lake is nutrient-rich and has abundant birdlife. It offers good fishing for zander, pike and perch, as well as plenty of coarse fish. The area contains one or more waters for catch-and-release, i.e. the fish are carefully released after being caught. Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 17. Must carry valid identification A small locally run fishing-area association with 13 co-owners, formed in 1991 in connection with a fisheries-rights investigation by the land survey authority to organise fishing in jointly owned Häresjön, with a fairly good fish stock of zander, pike, perch, bream, roach, bleak....
