The fishing is more suited to the nature experience than to catching many and large fish. Only catch-and-release is applied in the area, i.e. fish are carefully released after capture. Skogssällskapet is a public-benefit foundation that works for sustainable development of forest and land. We are present in Sweden, Finland and Latvia. Our forest managers help forest owners develop forest properties so that they achieve their full potential. The aim is to enrich forests with different values and to manage the forest sustainably – from an economic, ecological and social perspective. As an independent foundation, without ownership interests in sawmills or industry, we start from each forest owner's own aims in managing their forests.
