Uddevalla sportfiskeförening Fishing is permitted for sport fishing. That is, fishing with a rod for pleasure and recreation, not for sale. Signs at the water and instructions from supervisors have the same validity as these rules. Fishing rules apply in the event of legal liability and violations are punishable. Fishing by boat and float ring is prohibited. Fishing with fishing tackle is allowed but with a maximum of 8 tackles per card. Maximum 2 rods per angler The eel is protected as well as the carp and will be returned to the lake. In 2026 (until further notice), Smedvattnet and Stora Grågåsvattnet are also included in the Uddevalla Card, as no rainbow trout will be introduced during the year. Please note that this is valid until further notice and will cease if/when stocking resumes. Annual passes do not apply to these lakes if/when new stocking of rainbow trout has been made. New for 2026 is that Stora Örevattnet and Metsjön are no longer included in the Uddevalla Card! Special rules apply to these waters: Fishing ban in the stream between Smedvattnet and Örevattnet.
