There are ten lakes here with a combined area of more than 300 hectares where you can fish, swim or simply enjoy nature.The fisheries management area is in south-eastern Sweden's forest district, south of Eringsboda, and includes the lakes: Stora and Lilla Blanken, Ljusterhövden, Svarthövden, Kärringsjön, Älten, Kansjön, Kansjögöl, Stora and Lilla Skälen .There are jetties in the larger lakes. The fisheries management area was formed in 1993 with the purpose of promoting fishing and fisheries conservation in the lakes: putting out jetties, hiring out boats, building fish shelters, stocking fish and crayfish, putting up signposts, selling permits etc. This benefits local residents and visiting tourists.
