Särna Idre FVOF Generally: The fishing license is personal and may not be transferred. It must be carried with you when fishing and presented upon request by the police or fishing inspector. Fishing should be conducted in moderation for good fish conservation. Fishing season: All stream fishing is prohibited 1/9 - 30/4, with the exception of fly fishing for grayling which is permitted 1/9 - 15/11 in all grayling waters, NOTE!: catch & release quota 8 fish (in Storån there are grayling up to Sognstupet). Methods: 2 rods/angler applies in all waters. Live fish may not be used as bait. Prohibition on fishing from boats or float rings in: Northern Trollsjön, Slötjärn, Valltjärn, Bladtjärn, Tjärn 87, Slättåstjärn, Middle Långsjön, Bergslagstjärn, Kimtjärn, Älgsloken, Blanktjärn, Ögåvalltjärnarna, Bergslagstjärn, Bumlingtjärnarna, Djuptjärn. Boat fishing is permitted in Öresjön Idre, Öresjön Särna, Långtjärn, Burusjön, Glytjärn, Gyttjetjärnen, Hemsjön, Stora Flysjön, Södra Trollsjön and Näcksjön. Only fishing with a river rod : Storån; upstream of Hällsjön, and Klingforsen - Kronparklinjan south of the village of Foskros. Sörälven; Båthusströmmen - Flottarkoj-grunden (gap shed). Grövlan; Storedan (gap shed) - Storån. Buruån; Burusjön - Smedkojan. Fjätälven; Skoterleden at Ringströms - Inlopte i Österdalälven (Fjätros). Between Hällsjön and the line south of Foskrosbyn, spinning etc. is allowed (NOTE!: catch & release quota 8 fish, catch quota 5 fish, minimum size 35 cm / card and 24 hours). Catch restrictions: Österdalälven: Östomsjöbron - Hornån, and in Fjäten from the falls to Fjätros - minimum size trout and grayling 45 cm, catch quota max 2 trout or grayling/card & 24 hours (+ catch & release quota 8 fish). Fly fishing stretches trout and grayling 35 cm, catch quota max 5 fish/card & 24 hours (+ catch & release quota 8 fish). Other waters: grayling 35 cm, char 25 cm, trout 25 cm. In Northern Trollsjön, Slötjärn, Valltjärn, Bladtjärn, Tjärn 87, Slättåstjärn, Middle Långsjön, Bergslagstjärn, Kimtjärn, Älgsloken, Blanktjärn, Ögåvalltjärnarna, Bergslagstjärn, Bumlingtjärnarna, Djuptjärn, Glytjärn, Bålsjön, Öresjön Idre, Öresjön Särna, Långtjärn, Burusjön, Gyttjetjärnen, Hemsjön, Stora Flysjön, Södra Trollsjön and Näcksjön. In all the waters listed, a maximum of 5 salmonids/card and 24 hours applies. Other rules: Caught fish may not be sold. Fishing ban: Fulan; Södra Fulusjön - the falls at Gethammaren. Görälven; below the falls at Lillingarna - Lillån, Fly routes and prohibitions are signposted. The fishing license is also valid in: Sveaskog's waters (not privately leased, the angler is obliged to find out what is applicable in the water), all of Glysjön, all of Öjsjön and all of Trängselsjön.
