Ängersjö FVO is located in the south-eastern part of Härjedalen. There are forests, mountains and many waters here. The area suits the whole family equally well, as several lakes, besides good fishing, also have fine bathing beaches. There are roads to most waters and also wind shelters with the possibility of barbecuing. After many years of renaturation measures, the stream from Ljusnan at Ängra up to Kvarnsjön has no migration barriers. Late evenings are best for catching stream trout; nymphs are recommended. Pay attention to the different insect swarms under the trees along the streams; the trout often stand there. Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 15. Only accompanied by a guardian/adult/person holding a valid fishing permit (on that person's quota). In game-fish waters only if the guardian holds a valid fishing permit. Ängersjö FVOF was formed in 1979 and our purpose is to safeguard the interests of fishing-rights holders and promote general recreational fishing by making fishing permits available to the public, as well as carrying out fish conservation in the area's waters.
