We do not sell fishing permits yet!iFiske unfortunately does not sell fishing permits for this organisation; here you will only find information about this fishing water. We naturally hope that in the future we will also be able to offer fishing permits in Övre Ammeråns FVOF. Would you like hel ... Övre Ammeråns FVO is an undeveloped gem in inland Norrland, offering everything both spin and fly fishers could wish for. The river’s currents are well known among fly fishers for their excellent grayling and trout fishing, but in recent years the excellent pike fishing has also attracted visitors from all corners of the Nordic countries.Övre Ammerån’s fishery conservation area extends from the beautiful village of Skyttmon and approximately 15 kilometres downstream. The water varies greatly, with both large pools and strong currents, where the wild Borgforsen is a favourite among fly fishers. Those travelling by boat and fishing for perch in the bays will not be disappointed, either by the surroundings or by the supply of fish. As mentioned, the area has recently become known for predator fishing, with, for example, Östra and Västra Rönningssjön producing both 2-kilo perch and 10-kilo pike.Another excellent all-round water is Öravattnet, where there are trout, Arctic char and perch, as well as boats for hire. In short, Övre Ammeråns FVO has more fishing spots than there are anglers, both lakes and currents, and enough fish for both the camera and the frying pan.A natural starting point is Skyttmon, where there is information and other services, or the boat hire at Öravattnet. The area is signposted and there are roads to rapids and lakes. There are shelters.Way description: Route 87 from Hammarstrand to Ammer, then route 344 to Skyttmon. From Östersund, route 45, turn off before Hammerdal onto route 344 towards Skyttmon. Within the area there are one or more "put-and-take" fishing waters with stocked game fish. Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 15.
