Dammåns FVOF Generally Children under 16 fish for free when accompanied by an adult with a valid fishing license. Fishing season The ponds are open all year round. Methods Bait and pike fishing and net fishing are completely prohibited in Dammån. Catch restrictions Minimum size of Grayling 30cm Minimum size of trout 45cm and 1 trout/day. Total fishing ban in effect - the suspension bridge upstream in Lekarån and to Storfallet. - From the windbreak (50 m upstream of the fish ladder) downstream to the suspension bridge at the power plant, on the power plant side the ban applies further past the suspension bridge and to 50 m downstream of the outlet of the power plant stream. - Bastuån. Fishing ban on part of Bastuån from the falls 2km upstream of Gräftåvallsvägen and downstream to the outlet Dammån. - in Dammån and flowing tributaries during the period September 1st - May 30th.
