Fågelbergets FVO Sport fishing is permitted in all waters of the fishery management area all year round. The exception is fishing in flowing waters during the spawning season for grayling from April 15 to May 31 and for trout from September 1 to October 31. General provisions: Fishermen must be aware of applicable laws and regulations and the rules and regulations issued by the FVO, as well as the boundaries of the area. Sport fishing may only be done with sport fishing gear, a maximum of one rod carried by hand per cardholder. The fishing license is personal and cannot be transferred. Fishing licenses and identification must be carried when fishing and must be presented to the supervisor/fishing rights holder upon request. Welcome to scenic Jämtland and Fågelbergets fisheries management area. In the waters south of Fågelsjön there is good trout and Arctic char fishing in summer and winter. Klingervattnet has fine Arctic char ... Welcome to scenic Jämtland and Fågelbergets fisheries management area. In the waters south of Fågelsjön there is good trout and Arctic char fishing in summer and winter. Klingervattnet has fine Arctic char and Israelvattnet large trout. A boat may be used in Fågelsjön and Lillvattnet, where lure trolling and spinning can yield good catches of trout. Boats and electric motors are available for hire. In Zakrisvattnen there is good winter and summer fishing for trout and Arctic char. Fågelsjön has easily accessible pike fishing. Snowmobile traffic permitted to all waters. Marked trails. Purchasers of permits are obliged to read through the fisheries management area's rules. Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 18 years. Must carry valid identification. Fågelberget is on road 342, the wilderness road towards Gäddede, 10 Swedish miles north of Strömsund. We offer fishing in a scenic wilderness area near the mountains, with many waters with natural stocks of trout and Arctic char; 27 lakes and tarns are available for sport fishing.
