In the area you can choose between fishing in lakes, tarns, rivers and winding forest streams. Here everyone, from the amateur to the most demanding fly fisher, can find their favourite spot. There are wind shelters and barbecue areas beside many of the waters. Children and young people under 18 fish free of charge. There are fishing waters for everyone: the amateur, the family with children or the fly fisher. At many of the waters there are wind shelters and barbecue areas; small paths and signs lead you there. Gunnarvattnets FVO Within Gunnarvattnets fish conservation area there are only original fish stocks naturally adapted to their environment, i.e. no fish stocking takes place. Rörvattnet-Skogsjö FVO The area is something of a paradise for fishing families. There is exciting and challenging fishing for all ages and it is often easy to reach the fishing waters. Even mountain fishing is easily accessible thanks to the road to Stensjön. In our waters it is mainly trout and char that apply, and you can choose between fishing in lakes, mountain tarns, rivers and winding forest streams – everywhere with good chances of a fine catch. The area lies in the borderland between mountain and forest, creating an inspiring environment for fishing and other activities. Valsjöns FVO Valsjöbyn at Fiskevägen can offer varied fishing that geographically extends from Stor-Foskvattnet in the east to Rengen in the west. From January 2004 the Hotagen-Flinten area has been included in Valsjöns FVO, which means that the number of tarns is now approximately 60. The larger lakes are Valsjön, Rengen, Stor-Foskvattnet and parts of Hotagen, as well as a number of other larger lakes. The area also offers running-water fishing in, among others, Toskströmmen and on the neck above Rengsfallet. There are one or more accessible fishing waters within the area. There are one or more waters for catch-and-release in the area, i.e. the fish are carefully released after being caught. Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 17.
