Welcome to fish in Sörvattnets Fishery Conservation Association's waters in Härjedalen. The association's waters offer varied fishing in running water, lakes and tarns and are suitable for both spinning and fly fishing for grayling and trout. A large part of the waters is easily accessible as it lies close to road 311.Kölån offers many opportunities for exciting fishing, as it consists of both long stretches of running water combined with calmer stretches and two lakes, Övre- and Ytter-Sörvattensjön.Kölån flows into Storfjätån, which has a similar character to Kölån. The river system is approximately 1.5 mil long and stretches in the north from the inlet to Övre Sörvattensjön and in the west and south to the border with Dalarna.In addition to running water, the area offers fishing in a number of tarns, where Boktjärnen is the largest, located in the mountain area between Boktjärnsstöten and Skrabbhågna. Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 14. Only in the company of a parent/guardian/adult/person who has a valid fishing permit (on that person's quota) The association has been active since the beginning of the 1950s and works to manage the association's waters, made available by the County Administrative Board of Jämtland County.The association is non-profit and most of the proceeds from permit sales are used to buy fish fry for stocking.
