Svenstaån has a genuine wilderness character and is difficult to access from a fishing perspective, something the association intends to maintain and preserve for the future, in order to increase the number of large lake trout in Storsjön and Svenstaån.Svenstaån, on the stretch from Medalen in Svenstavik to Rörösjön, as well as Backsjöån, is subject to fisheries management measures. Rörösjön: Fishing with different methods all year. Fishing for trout and grayling from June to August. Rörösjön is easily accessible via existing roads. Svenstaån is difficult to access and requires extra effort from the genuine sport fisher.Stor-Backsjön and Lillsjön can be reached fairly easily via forest roads and a short walk. Kläppsjön can be reached via a forest road that reaches almost to the lake. NOTE! The easternmost part of Kläppsjön lies outside the fishing conservation area (see map).Backsjöån has a strong wilderness character and is quite difficult to access along its entire length, but can be reached via forest roads and shorter walks.Östbergsbodsjön can, among other ways, be reached via a forest road along the eastern side (the road is closed to motor traffic). Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 16. The fishing conservation area covers Svenstaån upstream of the bridge for public road no. 542 through Svenstavik, Backsjöån, the lakes Rörösjön, Lill-Backsjön, StorBacksjön, Lillsjön, Östbergsbodsjön, Östbergstjärnen and part of Kläppsjön, as well as waters flowing into these.
