Flens FVOF The following rules, established by Flen's fisheries management association, apply to fishing in Lake Flen. All fishing without a valid fishing license is prohibited. Children up to and including 15 years of age sport fish freely without the need for a fishing license. The fishing license is only valid for sport fishing (no fixed gear may be used). The cards are also valid for the winter season and are valid for angler fishing and pimpel (max. 10 anglers/card). Annual passes are valid for one year from the date of payment. Fishing licenses are personal and may not be transferred. It is permitted to bring your own boat. Trolling and towing are permitted. Fishing license and identification must be able to be shown at the request of a fishing supervisor. For pikeperch, the minimum size is 40 cm, smaller fish are put back. Crayfish fishing is not included in the fishing license.

Welcome to try your fishing luck in Lake Flen. Flen is located in Vetlanda municipality, beautifully nestled in the Småland forests. The lake is part of Emån’s main catchment system, has a maximum depth of approximately 16 metres, covers an area of 3.73 square kilometres and lies 181 metres above sea level. The area includes the whole of Lake Flen, including the upper part of Sällevadsån down to the dam at Flenshults kvarn. Lake Flen has good populations, especially of pike, zander and perch, all of which offer wonderful fishing experiences. There are also a number of different coarse fish, including bream and tench, as interesting angling species. You are welcome to bring your own boat, and a launch site is available in the north-western part of the lake, where there is also a prepared barbecue area with an accompanying wind shelter. It is also possible to hire a boat. Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 15. Only handheld tackle Flens fisheries management area association was founded in 1990 with the aim of coordinating fishing and fisheries management. The aim is also to promote the members’ common interests and grant fishing rights. Flens FVOF includes Lake Flen in Karlstorp parish, Jönköping County, and a member is anyone who owns property with fishing rights in the lake. The association’s activities cover all fishing within the area, and the aim is to offer both permit holders and members varied and experience-filled fishing. A highly popular fishing competition is organised on the lake every year.
