Norra Sandsjö FVOF Children and young people up to the age of 18 fish for free within Norra Sandsjö FVO, but the same rules apply as when purchasing a fishing license and mandatory catch reporting. Purchasing a fishing license entitles you to sport fishing with hand gear in Hagasjön, Uppsjön and Sandsjön. Crayfish fishing, net fishing, fishing with roach traps and other fixed gear is not permitted for the public. Minimum size of pike-perch: 45 cm. If you rent our boat, please return it in the same condition as when you rented it.

Emån's narrow, winding channel near the source area encounters, on its course through Sandsjöbygden, three relatively shallow, reed-rich lakes: Hagasjön, Uppsjön and Sandsjön. The lakes contain, among other species, zander, pike, perch, bream, roach, tench and burbot. Uppsjön is the district's foremost bird lake and one of the most interesting in Höglandet and Nässjö Municipality. The lakes lie in the southern part of Nässjö Municipality, beautifully nestled in magnificent agricultural countryside with historical traditions. Sandsjöbadens campsite and Sandsjö Wärdshus are located on the shore of Uppsjön. We also have a boat ramp located at Röken in Uppsjön. Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 18. Norra Sandsjös FVOF works actively to ensure that anglers who purchase permits from us enjoy our lakes, and monitors our aquatic environment against damage.
