Kårahultsjöns FVOF Fishing may be conducted with the following gear: casting rod, fishing rod, ice stick, boat drag, fly. Children under the age of 15 of fishing license holders are allowed to fish freely in the company of the holder. Annual passes are valid for 1 year from the date of issue. Fishing may be done with: casting rod, fishing rod, ice rod, boat trawl, fly and 10 fishing rods or ice rods. Minimum size for pike perch 40 cm. FISHING BAN FOR GEESE DURING MAY - JUNE. DURING THIS PERIOD, ALL CATCHED FISH MUST BE RETURNED. Please note that all catches of walleye shells are reported. Crayfish fishing prohibited. Kårahultsjöns FVOF Båtregler There are currently two boats in the lake that can be rented through the iFiske app. The boats are rented out daily for a cost of 100 SEK/day. Electric motors are allowed but not gasoline engines. For safety reasons, everyone on the boat should wear a life jacket. You who bring your own boat. The boat MUST first be cleaned with, for example, a rag to avoid the spread of invasive plants.

Kårahultsjön is a dammed lake in the Lyckebyån water system, located approximately 4 km north of Eriksmåla (junction Rv 25 – Rv 28) in Emmaboda municipality. Kårahultsjön also has the name Yggerydssjön. The most common fish species are pike, perch, roach, bream and tench. Zander stoc ... Kårahultsjön is a dammed lake in the Lyckebyån water system, located approximately 4 km north of Eriksmåla (junction Rv 25 – Rv 28) in Emmaboda municipality. Kårahultsjön is also called Yggersrydsjön. The most common fish species are pike, perch, roach, bream and tench. Zander stocked 2009. The best fishing for pike takes place from the ice using set lines or ice rod. The largest pike on a set line is 12 kg, but pike of 14-17 kg have been caught in fixed tackle. Perch in weights above 1 kg occur. Around the lake there are breeding pairs of osprey and diver, but also the shy bittern. If you are lucky, you may also see white-tailed eagle or Småland's regional animal, otter. There are two boats in the lake that can be hired. NOTE: You who use your own boat. To prevent the spread of invasive species such as Sjögull and similar plants, the boat, canoe or other craft must be washed and disinfected before launching. Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 14. Permits and boat booking The association was formed in 1988 with the purpose of promoting fishing in the lake and safeguarding landowners' interests by granting fishing with handheld tackle in the lake. Anyone wishing to fish must hold a valid permit.
