Vidöstern Fiskeregler Fishing rules: o Fishing without bringing a fishing license or SMS receipt is not allowed. All fishing licenses include fishing with handheld equipment, and when ice-fishing 10 hooks with bait per license holder and day. Other fishing tools than those included with the license are not allowed. o When ice fishing, only ice fishing hooks may be used on the tools. o Minimum size of pikeperch and pike is 40 cm. o The license holder must always be present when laying out and removing fishing tools. o Family year license is valid for own children up to the age of 18. Family licenses apply for a maximum of two (2) adults with their own children. Maximum of three (3) own children per family card. As a child, you are even counted when you are 17 years old. Family cards apply only to the family members who live at home and to an accommodation at the same residential address. A family consists of cohabiting married or cohabiting couples or cohabiting persons who have registered their relationship and by their children, by either parent together with their children. Married and cohabiting couples without children as well as persons who have registered their relationship and who do not have children are also counted as a family o Crayfishing is not included in the license. o Neglecting the rules for the fishing preservation area will lead to legal measures. Offenders may be suspended from fishing within the fishing preservation area. o License and receipt is personal and is not transferable. o License or receipt must be displayed on request by supervisor, police or the owner of the fishing rights. o It is not allowed to carry on any type of fishing for commercial purposes, e.g. through selling of fishing tours or similar arrangements, without a written permission from the committee of Vidöstern’s fishing preservation area. o Only one handheld tool is allowed per person when fishing in the river Laganån.
