Haparanda Sportfiskeklubb is for all children and adults interested in fishing. Haparanda Sportfiskeklubb welcomes everyone interested in fishing – both children and adults. The club regularly organises various fishing competitions in Kivijärvi, our own lake, as well as at other fishing locations in the area around Haparanda–Torneå. We place particular emphasis on activities for young people and actively work to promote their interest in angling. Every summer, the club stocks rainbow trout in Kivijärvi to offer attractive and sustainable fishing. A fishing permit for Kivijärvi costs 200 kr per day. A permit entitles the holder to take a maximum of two rainbow trout per day. Fishing permits can also be bought at Sporthuset in Haparanda. The lake's location can be seen in the attached directions. It is only 300 m from the car park. Paths run around the lake. In autumn, the surroundings of the lake are a good place to pick berries and mushrooms. Wind shelter: On the shore there is a kåta and two wind shelters. Lighting fires is permitted at marked fire sites.
