Jämtöns FVF Metträsket 1. Only 1 rod may be used. 2. No Power Bite or similar may be used. 3. Only 2 fish/card and 24 hours. Trout under 40cm will be released back. Please leave a catch report. 4. Boats and floats are prohibited. Only float fishing with a fly rod is permitted, but not on the opening weekend. 5. Children under 12 years of age fish for free with a guardian's fishing license. 6. Caravan parking only in places 1-10 which are marked yellow with small signs and upon presentation of a valid fishing license. 7. Only burn in designated areas. 8. Don't leave trash behind. 9. It is not permitted to damage the forest. 10. Premieres only day passes purchased on site are valid. 11. For children, it is important that they can handle a casting rod or fishing rod in such a way that they can reel in, pull or trick a fish themselves. 12. Minimum size 35cm for rainbow trout and 40cm for trout, avoid angling so that they are minimally damaged.

We stock rainbow trout weighing 7-8 hg and 2-year-old trout for growth; you can also catch some perch. The water is a cold-spring lake with a number of jetties around the lake. In addition, there are wind shelters by the water. This is a fishing water with stocked game fish, known as “put and take”. Free fishing for children and young people up to and including the age of 12. Only accompanied by a guardian/adult/person holding a valid fishing permit (on that person's quota). Only accompanied by a guardian/adult. For children, they must be able to handle a casting rod or coarse-fishing rod in such a way that they can themselves retrieve bait, lure or play a fish. We operate a put-and-take water called Metträsket and work for sustainable fishing. Our association was formed in 1956 and was among the first lakes to be treated with rotenone at that time. We are a non-profit association where nobody receives compensation for the work we carry out. A prohibition on boats and floating craft applies. Only float-tube fishing with a fly rod is permitted.
